Power Issues

When the product is connected to a correctly grounded power source, the control panel does not illuminate and the main motor does not rotate.

  1. Verify that the power switch is turned on.
  2. Verify that the power cable is correctly connected to the outlet and the product.
  3. Verify that the power outlet has the correct voltage.

When turned on, the control panel illuminates, but the main motor does not rotate.

  1. The toner cartridge might be open.
  2. A page might be jammed in the paper path.
  3. The motor cable might not be connected correctly.
  4. Make sure the motor rotates freely.
  5. The engine controller might be damage.
  6. Might have to replace the main motor.

The printer turns on and the motor is working, but the control panel doesn’t work.

  1. The control panel is damage.
  2. The main board is defective.
  3. The fax board might be defective
